Locator Sonde
There’s no job too big or small, locator Sonde equipment can help you tackle them all. Locator Sonde equipment can be screwed onto a duct rodder for easy underground utility locating, even with non-conducive utilities. Locator Sonde equipment is available with a 0.25 inch diameter to our largest Sonde, which is 2.51 inches.
Locator Sonde Spring Coupling fits between the end of a Flexrod and the Sonde to ease the Sonde around bends or reduce the shock to the Sonde when hitting the wall of a pipe. The spring coupling has a M10 male thread and a M10 female thread.
Use these locator Sonde with the Radiodetection underground utility locators and Jameson duct rodders to pinpoint Sonde locations and depths. A locatable conduit rodder would be the best underground utility locating tool to locate the entire rod length.
BendiSonde
This 3 section Sonde measures at 18.8" x 0.9". Locatable to 20' with a 512 Hz frequencies. 1 battery.
S13 Super Small Sonde
Measuring 0.5" x 2.7" with a plain end cap. Locatable to 8.2'. Supplied as a kit to include Sonde, 2 batteries and a case.
Super Sonde
This is a self-contained, battery-operated Sonde, measuring 2.51" x 12.51". It can be connected to a Flexrod for locating pipes and ducting etc. It transmits on 33kHz and can be normally located to a maximum depth of 49.2'.
S18 Sonde
This is a self-contained, battery-operated Sonde, measuring 0.70" x 3.22". It can be connected to a Flexrod for locating pipes and ducting etc. It transmits on 33kHz and can be normally located to a maximum depth of 13'.
S6 Micro Sonde
Measuring 0.25" x 3.5". Locatable to 6.5'. Supplied as a kit to include Sonde, flexible adaptor, 2 batteries, and a case.
Slim Sonde
This a self-contained, battery-operated Sonde measuring 0.86" x 7.79". It can be connected to a Flexrod for locating pipes and ducting etc. It transmits on 33kHz and can be normally located to a maximum depth of 11.5'.
S9 Minisonde
Measuring 0.35" x 5.4". Locatable to 13'. Supplied as a kit to include Sonde, 2 batteries, and a case.
Standard Sonde
This is a self-contained battery operated Sonde, measuring 1.53" x 4.13". It can be connected to a Flexrod for locating pipes and ducting etc. Available in 3 frequencies with a locate depth of 16'.
Flex Rod
The Flexrod reel holds 197' or 394' fiberglass rod used for tracing pipes and ducting, etc.
Sewer Sonde
This is a self-contained, battery-operated sonde, measuring 2.51" x 6.61". It can be connected to a Flexrod for locating pipes and ducting etc. It transmits on 33kHz and can be normallly located to a maximum depth of 26'.
FlexiTrace
The FlexiTrace reel holds 164' or 260’ of small diameter rod. The rod itself can be energised by a Radiodetection transmitter* or Genny and inserted into pipes as small as 0.47".
